How The West Was Won

This Indigenous triptych flips the old colonial narrative on its head. While Manifest Destiny may have held sway for a short window (500 years to numerous thousands, before and after), it is through the gifts we have held and passed on that we win “the West,” returning it to Indigenous stewardship, letting the land, waters, and all beings there(on/in) live in health and balance.
